The Faith Journey

Praise Chapel Plumas Lake started on September 7, 2019. We began in a house that an amazing couple opened up for us. They became partners in this faith journey to win the community of Plumas Lake to Christ.

As we continued to seek God and go forward with anticipation for what will happen next, I came across the Arboga Community Center one day while working. I remembered that I had used it for my preschool graduation. I mentioned it to my husband, Pastor David, and he was on it to find out more about it. He was able to secure the spot for us to have a building, so we began using the building after just starting our church two months prior. I never suspected that this would happen so fast, but it was prophesied by our pastor, Pastor Angela, and so I knew that it was God's movement. So now we are in this building and we are very grateful. Because this building is a community center, others use it for events, so we are having to set up and tear down each week. This has been a challenge, so we are praying that God will provide a trailer for us to keep our equipment.

The amazing team that God has provided for Praise Chapel Plumas Lake is a blessing. The enemy has come down on us with many obstacles, but God is greater and we know it. We stand on the promises of God and stay close to Him, for he is our strength and we acknowledge Him. We give our all to Him and we know He will not fail us. As you are reading this, please keep us in your prayers.

We look forward to this journey, knowing there will be ups and downs. We do this for the people of Plumas Lake and the surrounding community to come to know Christ and his goodness. We have this goodness in our lives and we want to shine our light. We know that God has called us for such a time as this.

"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'" Matthew 28:18-20 (ESV)
